GOOD SUNDAY MORNING
Good Sunday morning to all. It is very foggy here in Michigan today. We live on a dead end dirt road which the highway runs beside. Usually you can look out and see the highway not today. Yesterday we went to an Amish auction that is always great fun. My son was able to find a motor they can use on the farm. It is usually a 100.00 motor new and I got it for 12.00. We also found some things we use to connect fence when we put it up. The box was still new unopened 10.00 price tag we paid a dollar. It is so cool when little blessings like that come along. Not much going on today. We have been staying home from church because of the flu outbreak. We really don't have a home church just been attending where my mother-in-law does. Now on to another subject crocheting. If anybody that reads has a very easy pattern or way to explain to me. I would like to make a big circle rug. When I have tried this it always ends up curling and not laying flat. Lots of times I look at those patterns and they look like Greek. Any help would be appreciated. Have a great day Rebekah.

Rebekah,
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help you -I'm not the best though at crocheting difficult things. Sometimes though when things buckle up I change hooks and go bigger that seems to help.
I'm so slow at making things -I've been making little baby hats and it's taking me forever!
I think we are skipping this morning's church -well probably go tonight. Bat makes sure we both wash our hands thoughly as soon as we come in the door. -My daughter has yet to go to church with the baby -she is a little afraid too.
The fog is lifting here now -it's such a pretty morning though. Sorry if this was long.
God Bless
vickie
Never to long vickie. I love to hear from my readers.
ReplyDeleteWe, also do not currently have a home church, but that is ok, as I go to church via the internet! Today I was at Times Square Church in New York City listening to pastor Carter Conlon.
ReplyDeleteAs for crocheting, I am just learning myself, but if you go back on my blog, I have posted a link to another blog on how to make circles. I am just finishing mine up, but it is only a pillow, not a rug. I am not sure if the same technique applies. The link I have posted has very simple instructions, so I hope it helps!
What great deals at the auction! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to not have a home church. We have been trying to figure out just where we belong as well. Hope God leads you to a place of good teaching, as well as good loving, soon:)
