Catch Up

Good Morning! Today is my day off so spending it with the kids. We are going junk picking at a local town today. Yesterday was their city wide garage sale so today they throw everything out. Hoping to find lots of good stuff. Since last time I posted we have 2 beef calves we are now mothering. Their moms decided not to so we are the new mommies. I have been very busy doing markets and they have been busy. Lots of soaps have been sold and lots have been made to restock. Hubby has all his crops planted and first cutting hay done. Him and the boy are working on fixing a tractor right now. The farm work is mostly caught up but there is always something to do. The kids will both be taking cows for
4-H again this year. My son will do dairy starter and beef. The daughter is only doing dairy starter. We have a small garden this year few potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers and some green beans will probally go in yet. Hope all is well with evryone in blog land. Have a great day!

Long Time

Hello everyone, sorry it has been so long since I posted. Lots of things happening here on the farm. We have all our crops planted for the season, first cutting of hay is baled and wrapped. We have 11 new beef calves and four more mamas to calve yet. We just got new pigs as you can see in the picture. Only we have 4 instead of 2. Farmers markets have started once again. I do markets Tuesday thru Saturday. So I'm doing markets, trying to keep thigs stocked up as they sell and take care of everything at home. I have lots of new soaps and will get pictures posted of them. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Warm Weather!

Hello everyone, Hope you are all having a great weekend! We are having a great weekend here so far! With the time change our nights of coming in the house are getting  later and later. Spring has sprung here. It is so nice to see things starting to green up. Flowers are even coming out. I cannot wait for vegetables fresh from the garden!
 You know warm weather is here because things are getting so busy already. We have our cows for 4-h so we will start working with them soon. We will be doing five farmers markets this summer. We will  take  animals for butcher in a couple weeks. We have sold almost all our meat so time for new before markets start. We are no longer goat owners. We only have the milk cows now.  So from here on out all our new soaps will be made with cows milk. Trying to make our chores a little easier before the market season starts. Blessings

Just thought I would share a couple of the blessings the Lord has gave to me lately.
1. A beautiful healthy grandaughter.
2. A nephew who survived a serious auto crash.
The blessings I get everyday a husband who loves and cares for his wife an children, healthy kids who love and respect their Mom, my God who has saved me and is always there for me, a house to live in, food to eat, a good job for my husband, my little nieces preciuos smile I get to see everyday. It just warms my heart! Who can say there is no God when you see such joy and innocence in this little one's smile, markets which I get to do and let others see Christ through me and so many more! My God is an awesome God and takes such good care of me! Remember when things look bad just count the blessings God has given you. Have a great weekend Rebekah
