Busy Busy

Hello all I'm still here and we are all fine things have been a little busy here. We have been moving animals around for winter still not done. Just a lot of lose ends that need to be tied up and ready for winter to come. Matt is still trying to get corn out of the field. Looks like rain tomorrow so he won't get much done. He is hoping to get alot done today. I have the neighbors afghans done and will post a picture soon. I decided to make a couple more for presents. I'm working on one now and have one more to go. my daughter is going to make some potholders on her loom for the family and I'm going to crochet some. My family will be coming on Sunday for Thanksgiving dinner but since my husband will be working he has requested I make a Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving so I will be preparing two Thanksgiving feasts this year. I canned some venison from the deer my husband got oh it is so good canned. If I do not get to it on Thursday I hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving and remember to thank God for all the blessings he bestows upon you each and every day. Most of all remember the wonderful time you get to spend with your family. HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GOD BLESS YOU REBEKAH. P.S. Thanks Cindy for the seeds look so foward to seeing them next year.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you also! I will be happy when your husband gets the corn harvest done for the year! I'm glad you have venison but had no idea a person would can it! If you say its good I believe it!!! God bless you and your family.

  3. You surely have a busy week!
I hadn't canned venison but years ago we canned pork breakfast sausage and I thought that was the best! Not considered the safest way to can meat (pour hot grease over pork patties that you put in a wide mouth jar, turn upside down for 30 minutes then right side up so they could seal) but we didn't get sick so that was good! Now I just freeze it!
    Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
