TEA AT THE GOVERNoRS MANSION

Here is some random pictures from our outing today. Every year in Marshall Mi they have tea at the Governors Mansion. My Mom and motherinlaw used to go every year. So now that my mother has passed on me and my daughter are taking on the tradition. It is called the Governors Mansion because I guess Marshall was being considered as a place for the capital so they bought a house in case the city was chosen. Now The Daughters Of The American Revolution group keep it up.

I do not know who this man is I was getting ready to take and picture of the house he was there. He said to me oh you don't want me in the picture and I said oh that is fine. So off his hat came and he posed for me. I think we made his day that always makes you feel so good when you make someone else feel good.

This is me and as you can see my hair is all gone. A long story which I will post soon.

My motherinlaw.

  2. Oooh...what a beautiful old fashioned house! I love visiting those. Very nice quilt. I'm just doing patchwork quilts- I haven't been brave enough to actually do a pattern.
Love your hair! It's probably very easy to manage, yes? My DH would flip if I cut mine, he loves it long, so long it stays. *smile*
Hope you have a lovely week.
